Markus Fritts

Chief

Dallas Bay's first full-time paid Fire Chief, Chief Fritts is responsible for the overall operations of our department.

​

Chief Fritts has over 30 years of service with Dallas Bay Fire & Rescue.

Larry Fugatt

Assistant Chief - Personnel and Fire Prevention - Public Education

Chief Fugatt leads our Fire Prevention and Public Education Program, and has educated tens of thousands of people in over 30 years of service.

​

He is also responsible for overseeing any personnel issues and investigating any citizen concerns.

Adam Ward

Assistant Chief - Training Division

Chief Ward is responsible for the oversight of our training division. He leads a team that maintains compliance with all State mandated training as well as training our personnel on the latest firefighting techniques.

Lester Kring

Assistant Chief - Safety

Chief Kring is responsible for maintaining compliance with all safety requirements, develops policies to ensure responder safety, and investigates any injuries suffered by our personnel.

Timothy Waldo, NREMT-P

Assistant Chief - EMS

Chief Waldo is responsible for maintaining compliance with State training and licensure requirements for our EMS personnel as well as quality assurance reviews of all care rendered by our EMS personnel.

Dustin Bowes

Assistant Chief - Water Operations

Chief Bowes maintains all aspects of our Water Operations team's training and response. He coordinates all training for our Dive Team, Swift Water Rescue Team, and Marine Fire Suppression Teams.
