Dallas Bay Fire and Rescue provides many crucial services to the citizens of our district.
Fire Suppression
Dallas Bay utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and advanced techniques to extinguish fires, protecting life and property. Millions of dollars in property are saved annually by our personnel.
Emergency Medical First Responder Services
Dallas Bay responds to all EMS calls dispatched in our district. If you call for an ambulance, our personnel will respond as well. This shortens the time from your call to medical care. Our highly trained staff of Emergency Medical Responders, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, and Paramedics are able to begin interventions to stabilize a patient while waiting on an ambulance. We assess patient care situations and update the ambulance crew while en route so they are able to transport immediately if needed.
Vehicle Extrication
All Dallas Bay Firefighters are trained vehicle extrication technicians. We operate two fully-equipped rescue companies, one at our headquarters station, and one at our station in the Falling Water community. These units allow us to respond to vehicle accidents with entrapment within moments and begin working to extricate trapped patients. In 2022, Dallas Bay took delivery of state-of-the-art battery-operated Genesis Rescue tools. These replaced hydraulic tools that had served our department for many years.
Special Operations
Our Special Operations division includes our Trench Rescue/USAR team, as well as our Water Operations Teams including Swift Water Rescue, Dive, and Boat Operations.
