Smoke Detector Installation

Smoke detectors save lives. This has been proven time and time again. Dallas Bay provides basic smoke detectors to citizens in our district that are otherwise unable to afford them, or unable to install them themselves. Detectors will be installed on each level of home and adjacent to all sleeping areas as required. Homeowners will be educated in proper use, testing, and maintenance of detectors.

Dallas Bay can assist in changing batteries in smoke detectors that homeowners are unable to reach or service.

Note: Detector age will be checked at time of service. Dallas Bay cannot confirm that any detector over 10 years of age will function properly, and will be required to install basic battery operated detector adjacent to out of date detector.
