Dallas Bay Mourns the Loss of Long-Time Board Member

It is with great sadness that Dallas Bay Fire & Rescue shares news of the passing of Bob Mullin.

Bob was a long-time member of our Board of Directors with over 20 years of service. For 12 years, he served as our Chairman of the Board. Bob was a champion for our department working in partnership with Hamilton County, and the City of Lakesite to improve the services we provide to our citizens.

During his tenure on our Board of Directors, he helped to lead initiatives that resulted in our ISO rating improving greatly, strong partnerships with local businesses, financial responsibility, improvement and expansion of our fleet of apparatus, and a flagship project of a massive expansion and renovation of our Station 2.

Bob was a man that truly cared for our volunteers. He always made a point to greet every member, and ask how things were going for them. He made sure they had what they need to do their jobs safely and efficiently, and believed that there was nothing too good for the members on the front lines.

He will be missed greatly, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who loved and respected him as much as we did.
