Continuing a very busy year, Dallas Bay Water Operations Team responded on Monday evening to assist Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department with a Swift Water Rescue at the pocket wilderness.
The reporting parties advised that they had earlier cross the creek hiking, and were now trapped on the opposite side due to sudden heavy rains. The creek rapidly rose and the current increased massively. Mowbray requested response of our Swift Water Rescue Team to assist in rescuing the trapped parties.
Dallas Bay and Mowbray VFD Swift Water teams enjoy a strong partnership through the Tri-State Mutual Aid Association and regularly work together in situations like this. Your volunteers continue to work daily, driving our mission to Put Others First.
